Quality Control Engineer

Job Description

In defense industry projects, the Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinating, executing, improving, and verifying project quality management activities to ensure customer requirements are met and products are delivered with the highest quality standards; monitoring testing and inspection activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Establishing and maintaining communication with the customer’s quality representatives; participating in acceptance inspections, qualification processes, and delivery activities

  • Monitoring non-conformities identified during procurement and acceptance processes, collecting customer feedback, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence

  • Monitoring and documenting incoming, in-process, and final quality control activities

  • Tracking and ensuring the calibration of measurement and test equipment

  • Establishing system and quality management processes in line with quality objectives and applicable standards; managing documentation and ensuring continuity, as well as periodically monitoring the compliance of quality documents across different departments

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and AS9100, with the ability to prepare documentation in accordance with standard requirements

  • Familiar with quality processes, including process management, internal auditing, improvement, and performance measurement

  • Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, 8D, etc.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, technical documents, and project documentation

  • Knowledge of measurement and inspection techniques

  • Capable of performing quality control activities, maintaining quality records, and preparing reports and documentation

  • Proficient in computer applications and MS Office programs

  • Willing to work outside the office environment, including supplier facilities, test sites, and field conditions

  • Strong team player with a responsible, detail-oriented, constructive, and results-driven working approach; focused on processes, data, and outcomes

  • Open to learning, self-development, and taking responsibility; actively follows new knowledge areas
